Jett Travolta, John Travolta’s son, is sadly dead. But let’s look at a not-oft talked about issue concerning the late Jett: His name: Jett Travolta. One must wonder what John Travolta was hoping for his son’s life when he named him “Jett Travolta.” Did John have a thing for West Side Story? Did he want his son to be a Jet, not a Shark? Or did John Travolta have another idea about his son — that young Jett would become some hot shit, camaro-driving Baywatch-esque douchebag? Naturally, these are horrible things about which to wonder. Poor Jett Travolta was only 16 when he died in the Bahamas. Jett Travolta. Dead. Better than “Car Travolta,” “Plane Travolta,” or “Spuntik Travolta.” Best to just be called Jett Travolta. Poor guy.
